Indonesia. Asian Games 2018 attracts many foreign tourists to come to Indonesia.

Rendang
Rendang was voted as the world’s most delicious food by CNN. Rendang is thick
meat stewed in coconut milk with spice mixture. It takes a long cooking process
that makes rendang even more delicious and flavorful.

Nasi goreng
Nasi goreng or fried rice becomes one of the nation’s top dishes. The reason why
many people love nasi goreng is we can put various ingredients into it, from
chicken, eggs, meat, to fish ball. You can find nasi goreng everywhere or simply
cook it at home for breakfast and dinner. Never eat nasi goreng without slices of
cucumber and kerupuk (crackers).

Soto ayam
Soto ayam is not only a common dish, but also a comfort food for certain people.
Soto ayam has aromatic broth because it contains lemongrass, lime leaves,
ginger, black peppercorns, coriander, shallot, garlic, and other local ingredients.

Sate
From hawkers, food courts, to five-star restaurants, you can find grilled chicken
served with peanut sauce as known as sate or satay. Besides chicken satay, there
are many variations of satay come with different type of meats and various
sauces.

Gado-gado
Gado-gado is like mixed vegetables salad to the Europeans and the Americans.
Most gado-gado includes tempeh, tofu, spinach, bean sprouts, cucumber, potato,
and corn with peanut dressing. Gado-gado is usually prepared with lontong,
which is steamed pressed rice cake. A portion of gado-gado is enough for lunch.
